Firstly I wish to thank Sarah Hardy of Book on the Bright Side Publicity and Promo for inviting me on the Blog Tour of Hunting Ground by L. J. Morris
from prison and back in Europe, Ali Sinclair has one job… find Frank McGill.
The information he has is vital if they are to end the conspiracy that threatens to bring down the Government and push NATO to the brink of war.
With terrorist attacks increasing and a mole at the top of the establishment, Sinclair and McGill will need to use all their skills to follow the clues across the continent in a deadly treasure hunt that drags them back towards London.
But when you’re being hunted by assassins and the authorities… going home isn’t always the safest option.
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS AND REVIEW
Wow! This is one almighty adrenaline rush from start to finish. Ali Sinclair is back and teaming up with Frank McGill to unearth who the high official in Government is that has set his sights on causing chaos and mayhem in this country and its allies. Then opening up a clear take over for much darker forces to control world affairs.
One Man had already paid dearly with his life for what he had discovered and now his partner was in danger because only he could follow the clues that he had left in place if anything went wrong. Porter was quite a gentle soul unaware that his lover had died when McGill met him. He had to make instant choices. Was Mc.Gill telling the truth and could he trust him? Soon there was no doubt. Sinclair and McGill are a perfect pairing, prepared to put their lives on the line as a deadly game of ‘Cluedo’ begins across London.
I had in the past read the first Ali Sinclair novel, which was brilliant but the anti has risen with this book. The author writes with such confidence bringing a constant level of fear, frustration and feeling of being there with these characters that everything around me became secondary. Really set time aside because once in this story you won’t want to come up for breath. Porter I loved, what a star he was, so brave and a hundred percent behind McGill and Sinclair in everything they told him to do.
I was totally thrown with the intensity of the story, I am still running on this adrenaline feeling 24 hours after finishing the book. Loved how it all came together, though it pushed my blood pressure to the limits in the last few chapters. Highly recommended! Superb!
