Cold Winter Sun by Tony J. Forder @TonyJForder @BloodhoundBook #BlogTour #KindleUnlimited #ActionAdventure #CrimeThriller

Firstly I wish to thank Emma Welton of Bloodhound Books for inviting me on the blog tour for COLD WINTER SUN by Tony Forder.

A missing man. A determined hunter. A deadly case.

When Mike Lynch is contacted by his ex-wife about the missing nephew of her new husband, he offers to help find the young man with the help of his friend Terry Cochran.

Arriving in LA to try and track down the young man, the pair are immediately torn away when the missing man’s car shows up, abandoned on the side of a deserted road in New Mexico.

When two fake police officers cross their path, Terry and Mike know there is more to the case than meets the eye, and soon they find themselves asking exactly who it is they are really looking for…

Cold Winter Sun: a gripping thriller you won’t want to miss

I love Tony Forder’s open chapters in his books, they always leave me stunned. I was shocked and totally left with the ‘What the hell just happened there’ sort of thoughts within a couple of minutes. I can’t start what I can’t finish so I was going to spend a pretty unpredictable afternoon with a couple of real tough cookies, Mike Lynch and Terry Cochran, two ex military mates that watch each others backs when the need calls for it and it was certainly shouting now.

After a brief phone call from his ex-wife, Lynch and his bestie find themselves on a plane to the USA to find his wife’s husband’s missing grown up nephew. What begins as a simple missing person case soon escalates into so much more, including gangsters, the government and area 51. One thing that I can say for the pair is I love how they just take everything in their stride. It is more a mission than an investigation as the two of them think as one because they had been together so long in the forces.

This story really kept me on my toes as they followed suspects and people followed them. There were good guys after the bad guys and bad guys after bad guys. You just know when it all comes together there is going to be one hell of a shindig! I love Lynch and Cochran together with their magnetic attraction to chaos as it makes everything so unpredictable for the story and every other character that they come across!

I got so I was like the bloke in the beginning of the book. I wanted answers! And what answers they were. I thought aha! but no there was more and more. Brilliant.

Lynch is such a super cool dude, logical and so bloody clever. I really can’t wait until he starts calling in the favours he has banked from this and the last book. A super read with a conclusion I hadn’t worked out and with the luxury of a glimpse into his personal life.
