The Bespokist Society Guide to. London
BOOK DESCRIPTION
As the first travel book produced by the hugely influential Bespokist Society, this handy guide takes you to a London you’ve never seen: a London of challenging Etruscan restaurants, edgy branding parlours, emoji hotels and hidden Icelandic communities; a London where 8-ply toilet paper is a thing.
On the way, meet an eclectic band of inspiring Londoners – from scriveners to socialites via urban wordsmiths and coffee preachers – and see why London is now the global epicentre of Bespokist consciousness, community and culture.
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS AND REVIEW
Well this is a little gem of a read! Welcome to a truly got to have guide for places to visit in London that you would never find on your own and it is a perfect pocket-book size to ensure that it is handy to refer back to. Divided into five sections of North, South, East, West and Central London it ensures days out that covers everything that you will need, from eating, sight-seeing, theatre, sleeping and a loo that is a must pit stop for a wee while. I mean why spend a penny when you could spend a fortune?
This must have been a hoot to put together but to be honest I do think that one or two ideas could be winners. I know, but people pay out top dollar for the most ridiculous things if they believe that it is the ‘in thing’ to do. From the size of the book, to the well thought out sections, the addition of photos just complete this little book of hilarious must experience places and situations. The intermittent interviews with vendors of these establishments was just the icing on magnificent all I can eat virtual cake.
I just keep on remembering some of these ‘tourist attractions’ and just can’t help giggling to myself. If you enjoy the serious tongue in cheek humour, which at times is a little gross, then this would be a perfect little read for you. I do hope that a series of round the world Bespokist pocket-size travel guides are being made. My next visit to London just won’t be the same as I think I will smile at every man with a beard and just wonder…………
