HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS AND REVIEW
Four very different short stories brought together in one collection. They range in size but not quality with each one having that air of unusual to mystical about them. In other words a total entertainment package. Although the collection can easily be read in one sitting I would say to take a little time out between each story.
I really don’t want to go into these tales of the unexpected in detail because of the length of them, as it would sort of spoil the punch line in each one, which have their own uniqueness. I loved the diversity of all of the characters in each story, which in some way seemed to revolve round relationships one way or another be it sisters, husband and wife, lovers and family.
It would be hard to choose a favourite as each one holds something different for the reader with Sweet Justice a much darker story than the others, so I think that one would just come out on top for me. There is also a timeless feel to them all. Although they are complete stories they do leave you with that and then…………. feel about them. They really are tales of the Unexpected.
