HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS AND REVIEW
When 15-year-old Paul McGraw decides that enough is enough he takes it upon himself to rid the streets of Edinburgh of the scum that prey on innocent people and I thought yay a hero, but I just did not like this lad or the man he grew into. I could understand why he took this path but the mistakes he made and shrugged off were of someone without conscience.
Easy to impress and encourage to do more he became a paid killing machine . He took orders from dubious men with even more suspicious acquaintances and used horrific torturous amount of violence on his ‘victims’, not for information but just to make them suffer.
The writing itself was good, it was certainly all action, highly descriptive and gives the reader plenty to think about. . There are some massive story lines left open for the next book, this is the first of three which have been published so far.
This is a very powerful story with quite a twisted theme, cover ups, fragile friendships and enemies made. I am sure that the next novel will be just as riveting as this one.
HERE IS A LITTLE ABOUT THE AUTHOR
