Zack wants to go to college and become an author. He blames his imagination when the first person he meets on campus has an aura for a quick moment, but as his first day continues, so do the strange events. Not only are there students with spectacular abilities, but he realizes one group has hideous plans that follow a prophecy mentioned in an ancient Sumerian scroll. As he discovers he too has special gifts, he learns the girl he’s falling in love with is the center of the conflict between good and evil.
Blood Moon is a paranormal, thriller, romance suited for new adult (NA) and later. There is sex, language, and adult situations. You’re warned
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS AND REVIEW
There is a time when young adults move to the next level of reading, a sort of grey area when they aren’t ready for the full impact of adult books but feel they need a little bit more excitement. The New Adults that know what makes the world tick and want to feel the adrenaline rush with the story and for romances to go all the way. Well this is such a novel that fills that gap. This book will raise pulses but in positive ways, battling the bad guys in life and falling in love and making love which is described.
When Zac arrives at St. Catherine’s College of Arts and Education at Longwood Falls he soon realises that it has been more than his academic skills that have ensured him a place here. Certain students have a glow about them, an aura that he doesn’t understand the meaning of, that is, until one of the girls invites him over to find out more. But she never spoke he just heard her in his head.
This is a pretty awesome story of good against evil with the rest of the world at stake, the ultimate prize for the winner. Lily another college student, is the flip side of the coin and her followers are growing in number along with her strength. Between the good and evil there is a race on to decipher ancient writings that tell the outcome of this battle, but is it really set in stone or is destiny something we make through changing what is expected, to gut feelings. There are some brilliant super powers in this book, all which have their own name, my favourite is pulsing, but you will have to read the story to find out just what that is.
